Two liabilities in every drawer
Most organisations have a drawer, a cupboard or a pallet of retired devices, and no documentation about any of it. Every one of them carries two liabilities: the data it still holds, and the resources it was built from. Mishandled, a retired device is a security incident waiting to be discovered and an environmental cost nobody recorded. Handled properly, it is a recovered asset and a reportable outcome.

On site
A nationwide network collects on your schedule, with the logistics coordinated end to end so nobody on your team is managing couriers or chasing paperwork. Devices are secured at the point of collection, and custody starts the moment we arrive rather than when the van gets back.

Every device is packed in tamper-proof, individually sealed packaging with unique seal identifiers, and moved by tracked, tier-one couriers. Custody is documented at each handover.

On arrival
Certified software-based erasure to internationally recognised standards renders the data irrecoverable without destroying the hardware. Every device then goes through full functional diagnostics so its condition is assessed rather than assumed.

Outcome
The diagnostic decides what happens next. Viable devices are redeployed or resold, non-viable devices are stripped for parts to support repairs, and only genuinely unusable material is recycled through licensed, compliant partners. Every outcome is tracked and reported back to you.
The chain of custody is the product. Erasure software is available to anyone; documented, unbroken custody from your door to a signed certificate is not.

The same testing and grading process supplies devices as well as retiring them. Tested, graded and warrantied refurbished hardware scales a fleet without the lead time of new stock, and it is staged, enrolled and tagged exactly as new devices are.

We erase rather than shred, and it is not squeamishness
Physical destruction is the instinct, and it is usually the wrong call. Shredding a working device destroys the resale value that offsets the cost of the whole engagement, and certified software erasure renders the data just as irrecoverable while leaving the hardware worth something. Where your policy requires physical destruction we will do it, and we will tell you plainly what it changes commercially. What we will not do is destroy a fleet by default and let you assume that was the safer choice.

What it does not do

Not physical destruction by default
Devices are erased using certified software rather than shredded, because destruction removes the resale value that funds the service. Physical destruction is available where your policy requires it, and it changes the commercial model.

Not a backup service
Anything on a device that has not been backed up before collection is gone. Personal content, private accounts and application settings are explicitly out of scope.

Not a substitute for your own records
We provide the registry and the certificates. Retaining them and referencing them in your compliance reporting stays with you.

Volume, device mix and residual value all move the number, so engagements are quoted individually. We will tell you where your fleet sits before you commit to anything.

How do we know the data is really gone?
Every device is erased to internationally recognised standards and issued with its own digitally signed certificate of erasure, referenced to the device serial or IMEI. The certificate is the evidence, and it is designed to satisfy an auditor rather than reassure a colleague.
What does it cost?
Engagements are quoted individually, because volume, device mix and residual value all move the number. Where a fleet holds real resale value, that value can be offset against the cost of the service. The fastest way to find out where you sit is a short consultation on the devices you are retiring.
What happens to devices that have no value?
Devices with no residual value are stripped for components to support repairs where possible, and only genuinely unusable material is recycled through licensed, compliant partners. Nothing is landfilled unrecorded.
Can we get reporting for our ESG disclosures?
Yes. Every engagement generates a report quantifying the environmental impact of extending device life and diverting material from landfill, built on independently validated methodology and formatted to feed into your disclosures.
What about devices at remote sites?
Collection is nationwide with flexible, scheduled pickups. Sites are collected on your schedule rather than ours, and the logistics are coordinated end to end.
Do we have to be a mobility customer?
No. This can be engaged entirely on its own. Customers already running a managed fleet get a cleaner handover because the asset register already exists, but it is not a requirement.
Can you supply refurbished devices as well as take them away?
Yes. The same testing and grading process that assesses retired devices also supplies them. Refurbished stock is a generation or more behind current release and every device is graded on functional and cosmetic condition before you buy, so you are choosing a known condition rather than accepting whatever arrives.
Are refurbished devices wiped properly?
To the same certified standard applied to devices collected under the disposal service, before they are graded and offered.
